  Blood group AB is very rare ( only 2-5 % of the population has it ) and is very complex.
 The complex structure of antigens of blood group AB makes this group sometimes to be similar to blood group A, sometimes to blood group B, and sometimes to a combination of them. At these persons increases of weight is gained by combining inheritance of A and B genes. This sometimes involves additional problems. For example, people with blood type AB have a low content of gastric acid - Group A along with adaptability to meat products - Group B. So, although they are genetically programmed to eat meat, they don’t have enough gastric acid to digest it efficiently, so it is stored in fat. 
 
 Foods that increase the weight of the people with this blood type are red meat, beans, seeds, corn, buckwheat and wheat, and for reduction of their body weight can be used tofu, seafood, dairy products, green vegetables, seaweed and pineapples.
